Biography

Dr. Kym Weed is the Associate Director for the English M.A. program in Literature, Medicine, and Culture and the Co-Director of Health Humanities Lab at UNC Chapel Hill.

In addition to directing the LMC and HHIVE organizations at UNC, Dr. Weed is a Teaching Assistant Professor at UNC’s Department of English and Comparative Literature. Her academic specialties are health humanities, late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century American literature, literature & science, and disability studies.
