Looking for an exciting summer study-abroad course?

Consider Visual Approaches to Global Health (AFST S350 / FILM S340 / HLTH S350), a Yale University Summer Session abroad in Johannesburg, South Africa. This course combines traditional epidemiological and public/global health study with visual literacy, storytelling, and filmmaking methods. UNC students are welcome to apply, and UNC transfer credits are currently available through some departments. The course meets in Johannesburg from June 4-July 16, 2022 and is co-taught by Dr. Jonathan Smith and UNC’s Paul Blom.
