Carolina Seminar on Critical Conversations for Global Health with Jeremy Greene

From the Moral Economies of Medicine Carolina Seminar, we are pleased to announce the next installment of our Carolina Seminar on Critical Conversations for Global Health, a conversation with Jeremy Greene (JHU) on Monday, October 26th from11:30-1 at Alumni Hall (Anthropology) 3rd floor lounge (room 313).

Jeremy A. Greene, MD, PhD is Associate Professor of Medicine and the History of Medicine, and the Elizabeth Treide and A. McGehee Harvey Chair in the History of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University.  A specialist in 20th century clinical medicine,  pharmaceuticals, medical technology, global health and the history of disease, he is the author of Prescribing by Numbers: Drugs and the Definition of Disease and  Generic: The Unbranding of Modern Medicine.  His current work examines the effects of new media technologies on medical knowledge and expectations.
