Informed Consent

The Duke Health Humanities Lab is hosting a reading of the play, Informed Consent, by playwright Deborah Zoe Laufer. It is based on the true story of research misconduct by Arizona State University researchers who were working with the Havasupai Native American tribe to collect DNA for diabetes research.
Duke students from Prof. Kearsley Stewart’s Ethics of Infectious Disease class will embody the characters in this reading on Thursday, December 7 from 7:00 to 9:00PM at Sheafer Theater, located in the Bryan Center on West Campus. Free and open to the public!
