LMCC Meeting

October 27, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Bulletin featuring LMCC in large text and more information covered in the post. Two chat boxes are on the right side of the image. Their October LMCC meeting will take place at 5:30pm on Wed. Oct. 27. They plan to meet in person either in the large white tent on Polk Place, in front of Wilson Library OR in the HHIVE Lab (Gaskin Library) on the fifth floor of Greenlaw Hall. (They will share updates once they determine the location.) If anyone would like to join their meeting but feels uncomfortable/unable to join in person, please let them know, and they should be able to let you join via Zoom.

Reading material TBA.

About LMCC: The Literature, Medicine, and Culture Colloquium (LMCC) is an informal working group comprising undergraduate and graduate students along with a few faculty members. They typically meet once or twice every month and discuss a previously agreed upon reading over coffee and snacks. (Obviously, they’ll be meeting via Zoom this semester.) To get a sense of what they have covered in past meetings, see the LMCC website.

Questions? If you have any questions or concerns, especially if you run into issues accessing the reading or their Zoom room, please contact LMCC Co-Directors Rachel Warner and Paul Blom, doctoral students in the Department of English & Comparative Literature.
