SURF Information Session

Dear Undergraduate Researcher,

Need research experience for graduate school or scholarship applications?
Wish you could explore an idea that you love over summer?
Ready to launch your honors thesis research?
Have a desire to do something unique that can set you a part from others? 

Research, scholarship, creative performance in all disciplines encouraged.

Recent student projects have included research on:

  • Constructing a Health Fair Model for Rural North Carolina
  • Isolating the Effect:  How Various Forms of Sanctuary Policies Have Different Effects on Crime
  • Women of the Early UNC Playmakers
  • The Lockville Project: Culturally and Geographically Remapping a Town Lost
  • The Effect of Obesity on the Development of Influenza T Cell Memory
  • Depression Contagion among Adolescents: Implications for LGBTQ Teens
