Americares, one of the world’s leading nonprofit providers of donated medicine and medical supplies, is looking for a paid summer undergraduate health communications intern to work on the CDC-funded Reinforcing COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence project. The health communications intern will contribute to efforts to achieve improved information management and coordination in free and charitable clinics; information and feedback sharing to the CDC; and general COVID-19 vaccine information dissemination and awareness-raising.
This is an excellent opportunity for any undergraduate in the humanities–especially in English or Communication–to work under a CDC project and build a portfolio of health and science communication samples. As a bonus, the intern will work with an alumnus of the LMC master’s program, Brandon Rogers!
The internship will be a remote position requiring 28 hours of work per week from May 31 through August 4, 2022.
