Are you looking for research communication experience? The UNC Office of Research Communications is hiring students for a paid summer internship program. There will be two writing and/or multimedia intern positions available to produce content for Endeavors, the university’s research magazine. Interns will:
- Spend up to 20 hours a week with a professional communications team in a hybrid work environment
- Get their work published on endeavors.unc.edu, UNC-Chapel Hill’s research magazine
- Learn about science writing, photography, and/or videography
- Work on video projects and/or writing projects
Requirements include:
- Completion of one or more of the following courses: MEJO 121, MEJO 153, MEJO 157, MEJO 180
- Enthusiasm for science & research
- Writing and/or multimedia samples (published work a plus)
Other qualifications desired, but not required:
- Research writing experience
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and DSLR cameras
- Social media skills
